Kitsel graduated with a BSc in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Utah in 2023. Her undergraduate research spanned a wide variety of subjects including mineral extraction, glacial hydrology, and science communication. In her free time, Kitsel likes being outdoors, touching snow, ice, and rock.
