Emeritus Professor
Curt is a graduate of the United States Military Academy, having served as an Airborne- and Ranger-qualified infantry officer in the US Army. In academe, he taught mathematics and science at North Pole High School and was Physics Department Chair at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. At WATC, he was faculty at the Geophysical Institute and the Executive Director of the University Affiliated Research Center for the Geophysical Detection of Nuclear Proliferation, sponsored by the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Nuclear, Chemical, and Biological Defense Programs.
