A single broadband seismometer located in a 100m borehole at the US Coastguard Station on Kodiak Island. Installed in 1997, KDAK is also a station in the Global Seismic Network operated by IRIS and the US Geological Survey. It has been part of the International Monitoring System since 2005. KDAK is maintained by the Laboratory for Atmospheric Acoustics at Scripps Institute of Oceanography (University of California San Diego).
