A 7-element infrasound array on Diego Garcia, the southernmost island of the Chagos Archipelago in the Indian Ocean. The I52GB infrasound array on Diego Garcia was installed in 2002 across the southern part of Diego Garcia, within a thick forest of coconut trees. Temperatures vary between 80-90F year round, making corrosion a challenge in the humid maritime environment.
